What's Working:

  • Two new enemy types, Laser and Turret
  • Couple of additional gameplay mutators
  • Additional tweaks and changes

What I Need To Work On:

  • More enemy types
  • Weapons and power ups
  • Visual feedback from the HUD on various things
  • Making more levels
  • Lives system

Other Things I'm Doing:

  • Considering what to name the game
  • Going to do some 3D models for the player and such soon
  • Visual graphics and images
  • Trying to figure out a new way of doing wave generation that makes it a complete mess with one script

  • Boss fights
  • Checkpoints
  • Pausing
  • Sound and Music
  • Art assets
  • Controller support
  • Saving/Loading
  • Graphics/Gameplay/Sound options
  • Difficulty levels
  • Bonus stuff

A Few Other Words:

I must admit that the video of the turret is a tad outdated, I've lowered the firing rate and made the bullets smaller. Had a couple of light weeks I must admit, but I should be able to make some solid progress over the next couple of weeks. Also, I wouldn't mind any suggests for weapons or enemy types.
