Survival System Are Now (Somewhat) Implemented

Finally, the numbers for food, water, oxygen, and so on; now gradually get reduced overtime to add a thrilling and totally not tedious gameplay loop.

OK, jokes aside. Moving the ship around now expends fuel and a little bit of oxygen. Sitting around the ship, you'll see that food, water, and oxygen now decline also. With fuel, if it reaches zero, you won't be able to move the ship around anymore; but with everything else, currently there's no proper fail states implemented around it. That'll be the next thing I'll work on after my break.

Bug Fixes & Other Changes

  • Planets no longer show visual distortion, clipping, or other visual irregularities when overlapping each other (I'm still doing some testing, but it seems like it's fixed).
  • Resolution dropdown menu now displays refresh rate alongside the resolutions.
  • EXP rewards from deliveries have now been reduced.

Did I Just Mention The Word "Break"?

Yes, although I'm not quite "going on holiday" or anything. I mean nobody is considering the state of the world.

I'm taking a couple of weeks off from development to clear my head and play some games. Get through some of my backlog and maybe try and find some motivation for me to continue. This isn't some super long hiatus that certain manga artists take or anything.

But when I do get back, I'll be working on the fail states for the game like I said plus a bunch of other stuff. I'll probably be streaming on Twitch during my break, so feel free to check in.
