Hello there.

Just letting you all know that the Google Play store version of Rotaction has been updated to support more modern Android APIs. Specifically Android level 33. This means that some devices will no longer be able to play the game if they don't support that version of Android and higher. This was done in accordance with Google's changes in terms that require a certain level of the API to be supported and targeted.

The APK file on the Itch page remains unchanged for now. However, I have reopened development in order to address issues with the mobile version as well as correct other outstanding issues. Here's a list of things I'm looking to improve and change soon:

• Mobile touchscreen controls need to function better
• Controller support for phones
• Lock the aspect ratio to 16:9 for parity on all devices
• Adjust the amount of points required for unlocks
• Adjustments to enemy spawning to make it more performant

And likely a few other changes along the way. I know it's been a year since the release, and I'm thankful to the handful of people who have bought and played it. And I apologise for only just getting to fixing the long-standing issues with it now. That said, this update will take some time, so don't expect it anytime soon. Likely not even this year.

I am working on other projects of course, which are taking up most of my time, plus getting more content onto my YouTube channel, along with my usual streaming schedule. But I'll do what I can.
