Notes & Changes
Hello.
This project will not be receiving further updates. But I would like to say that I enjoyed working on the game for 7DFPS. It's not perfect, but I'll consider the time to be a learning experience, and I will be putting that knowledge to good use in the (hopefully near) future.
There was an update to the game today, I just want to make some points about it.
- Added sliders for Volume, FOV, Side-to-Side leaning, and aiming sensitivity.
- Fixed a bug where "Kill All Enemies" and "Alert All Enemies" would keep happening indefinitely.
- Improved performance by tweaking settings on various game assets.
- Shopping centre sign has been altered.
- All the guns now have muzzle flashes when firing, and the point where the bullets come out from now fits the weapons better.
- Gun damage has been altered for each gun.
- Bullet spread has been changed.
- Zombies have a larger attack radius and become alerted if you shoot them.
- The aiming reticule updates its on-screen position to where it is actually being aimed.
- Health no longer displays decimal points.
- The volume of the music in the shopping centre has been reduced.
About The Assets
My friends and I made a good amount of assets for this game, and it would be a shame if they were never used again. So I have plans on releasing various standalone assets from the game that you can download and use. Some will be free and some will be paid. And yes, this includes the guns, although they will not include audio files. I will try and include .blend files as well as Unity packages. Stay tuned for more information in the future and follow me for notifications.
